Creationism trial update

Today a witness outlined how early drafts of a biology textbook had the word "creationism," which was replaced with "intelligent design" in the federal court trial over the Dover, PA school district's policy of stating the "intelligent design" concept should be taught with evolution. Last Thursday, a high school biology teacher testified that she and her colleagues refused to read a statement on "intelligent design" in class because they questioned the concept's scientific validity.

There will be weeks to come of this trial.
