On this morning's Radio Times, second hour, is an interview with Duncan Black (aka Atrios.) Atrios is one of the few bloggers who makes a living at our hobby. He's being interviewed by Dave Davies of the Philadelphia Daily News, who also discusses blogging with Michael Cornfield of the Pew Internet and American Life project.
I heard the very end of it earlier and am relistening to it now. The RealAudio and mp3 is available at the above link.

I have mixed feelings about Atrios. I like his blog, as it's usually an early indicator of what people are talking about. At the same time, I find his harping on other Dems for deviations from the what he thinks party line should be troublesome. He's particularly critical of Joe Lieberman and DLC staffer Marshall Whitman (the Bull Moose), and while I understand the advantage of unity and sometimes agree with his criticisms, his take-no-prisoners approach often turns me off.
Nonetheless, it sounds like an interview worth hearing.
Oh -- I meant to add DailyKos as another board that takes that approach. Sometimes I think I'm becoming a moderate. But then I think of the President.
I admit I don't read either. I know they're the big guys, but I just don't bother going there. Especially since I catch up on my blogging once a day or less, and Atrios has some dozen or more posts in a day, I'd never see most of it.
The interview was good, because there was some discussion of how blogging affects the media and coverage of news. Of course, they made mention of the fact that there's a lot of garbage out there, too.
Lieberman's going down.
Lamont all the way, baby!
