They almost got me too. Thing is, posting your April Fool's Day story on March 31 is not cricket. I do not approve and I may have to write them a sternly worded message.
PoliticsNJ ran a story this morning about Gov Corzine naming Rep. Rob Andrews as chief justice of NJ supreme court, as part of a deal to put a Repub on the court also. It's an April Fools joke, but since it's posted on 3/31, I didn't realize it, and it made it into the news round-up I did on BlueJersey for about 5 minutes before someone else caught it and pulled it.
I didn't think Corzine was naming a justice right now, and I was on the lookout for any April Fools stories, but since it's 3/31 maybe it's just a scoop, right? Right?
