- deleted non-updating or defunct blogs from the sidebar
- added a blog or two that should've been there already
- updated some older posts with labels, so I don't have to do that awkward "list of related posts" anymore
Thank you to the readers who have voted for me for the Screaming Carrot. There are some much more worthy blogs out there than CoNJL, this I know full well, but it's truly gratifying to be nominated and receive votes.

And am stillon the fence about switching to Blogger Beta or WordPress orType Pad...
All I wanted to do was write...and it seems like it can be so complicated...

I went to Blogger Beta, and it didn't take me long to figure out the changes. I just wish they could get the whole "cookie" thing down so I didn't have to sign in MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY. I've no experience with Wordpress or Typepad, but I've heard of several folks switching to WP so it must have its advantages.
I've only been nominated for the SC; I got an honorable mention last year. It looks like the voting this year has been hijacked by a really small local blog with a tiny audience and remarkably many supporters, and a former magazine which has no place calling itself a blog. I don't expect to win- seriously, for what I do here, it really is an honor just to be nominated- but how is The Opinion Mill so low in voting? That's just wrong.
Of course, to leave this comment, I have to sign in AGAIN. -sigh-
